September 16 Frag Swap @ 1pm

We are looking forward to a great frag swap on September 16th @ 1pm.  It will be held FeedMe Algea's facility.  Please visit our "Meetings & Events" page for details.

If you would like to set up a frag tank shoot me a pm (@brandonmason) or a text (678-799-4968) with your user name and email so I can secure you a spot.  As always we will have some giveaways purchased by ARC.  $400 in gcs from Atlanta Aquarium and the full book collection from Mr Saltwater donated by Jeff Miotke.  (you must be a paid member to participate in the raffles).

So far we have 10 members setting up frag tanks.  

All members who are setting up a frag tank please arrive at 11:00am or later.  ARC will be providing tables and please bring a power strip to accomodate your power needs.

I would love to frag some corals for the upcoming swap, but I have yet to frag any coral and am worried about killing a lot of it on my first try. Is there anyone that can give some tips for first time coral fraggers?

I haven't been to a Frag Swap before and I'm doing a FO tank, is it just focused on Frags and there's otherstuff or really just frags as the name implies? I was looking forward to the BBQ I'm a sucker for good BBQ and that ontop of marine stuffz was sounding awesome

@ClowningAround: From my understanding it is just frags and coral related things. So for you it probably wouldn't be that great unless you want to make the step up to a reef system.

On a side note does anyone know what time it will be at?

I don't have anything to frag yet, tank is still pretty new. I assume cash can be traded for some frags? Would love to get some new stuff to add to my tank.

This is a frag swap.   Meaning you can attend and purchase coral ect.  If you would like to setup a small tank to sell coral then you will need to contact Brandon asap to save you a spot (you must be a paid member).  We will be announcing the sellers very soon.

This will be my first frag swap so how does it work. I have a coral I want to frag up can I bring it and trade with people or do you have to set up a frag tank and sell from it?
