Yay!!!!!!!! 6 weeks to the day, just like I was told and my bamboo shark just ate 3 huge tongs of pe mysis. Previously, he only accidentally ate a couple of things(I think he got so scared that he just inhaled and sucked in food) My melanurus ate pelets and pe mysis on his 2nd day. Still waiting for the leopard wrasse to make another appearance but it may take awhile..

He's actually in a 58gal right now. I know but it's just temporary, he's only 5 inches long. My intent is to have him and several larger tangs in a 450-500gal or pond. I got the egg thinking "what are the chances he's going to hatch", well he did and he devoured the shrimp today that I put in there like a big boy. It's been my dream since I was 8 to have sharks...:yay:
