sharpie on frag plug

Just thinking of numbering and seperating my frags by writing on with a sharpie and dipping back in saltwater before I place back in tank?
Sharpie says non toxic?

lots of people do it. I put name on the plugs in case i forget the chalice names. just make sure its the non toxic sharpie

We use Sharpie to write prices on PVC to set the corals on in the shop. No issues.
