looking for interesting aquascapes to spark creativity.

I'm NOT a fan of a big stack of rocks piled against the back glass.

I know its subjective, but links, pictures, drawings... anything to help me create something that is FIRST functional, and secondly beautiful

I've got a pretty open rock stack in my 140. I've never been a fan of a big lump of rocks.

I've got no epoxy on the rocks except for the frags that are in the tank. On the top left and top right I have the rocks on the glass. You can't tell in the picture but I have 2 computer armoires on either side of the tank so you can't see in from the back 2/3 of the tank.

I edited the title by adding "man". This should liven up the thread a little :D

Has that 2nd tank been Photoshoped? What is he feeding them corals for all those color arrangements? Can you give a brief background on what components make up your filtration setup as well as lighting? What are your cycle times of your lighting?

P.S. Your second tank is Incredible! I nominate your aquarium for "True Reef Tank of the Year!"

I don't think they are his tanks. But both are spectacular.

all very interesting.. those 2 from RC are really sweet. the 2nd must be siliconed down or something at the base in order to hold that long branch rock out like that...

Makes you wonder what kind of stress is on that glass in that section...

Thanks! I feed hamburger meat actually... lots of bacon and soy sauce in them too to raise the calcium/fat ratio.. I read on superkiddingreef. com to just use regular flashlights to get the best color if it is exactly 11.76 inches from the water. Only 1 hour per day.. and the top tank is in my bathroom and the bottom is in the hallway walk in closet.

just kidding :o) got them offa google

Need to change the title of the original post to include "pictures accepted only from tanks you maintain". That 2nd tank is "sick".
