I got a frag of the Meteor Shower and an Atlantis not long ago and they are my favorite coral right now, I WANT MORE!!! I am only familiar with these 2 color morphs - i would love to see more

also - where do you keep it and what do you feed/how often..

alot of mixed messages on the web for care, some say low light to shade, some say medium light..

Mine are in the upper 2/3'rds under full light and my MS is growing out of control!!!

if yours is in full light that means its in neither of the places you read on the web suggested.
try what they said and see if the growing cuts back any.

I have my MS higher in the tank in full light too and it's growing great! I got a frag from Rit a couple of months ago and it's now spread out and almost completely covered the plug. I love this coral too and would like more!

ya know ricksconnected your right, I found a perfect spot in a hole on a rock up high the plug would fit in, and forgot about moving em. The whole plug is now almost encrusted entirely.

i did move em to my frag rack yesterday which is a little shaded (i need to move it) and hes doing just as good...im gonna home him in an area with a little less light.......time will tell

the coral name slips my mind but i have a friend that was experiencing major growth with a coral and he moved it to less light. the growth slowed down big time. i told him i thought coral growth was a good thing.
i guess sometimes its not like with GSP.
