Pics of your water mixing stations/setups please! I am tired of doing everything out of one container.

Thanks

Tyson

Are you using a pump in there to pump out of, syphoning, or just filling a bucket and toting?

for water changes I carry it in a bucket. For daily top off I use a couple jugs

My needs were pretty small up until now. For the time being, I am sticking with what I have but very well may be upgrading before long. Sucks carrying all the water down a flight of stars. But I guess that is better than carrying them up the stairs. LOL

I use 2 - 27 gallon totes. RO/DI tied into the washer connection and a float valve in one tote. I use a small Eheim pump to transfer water from that tote to the mixing tote right next to it. Same pump is used to transfer to buckets to carry downstairs and the same pump again to pump it into the tank/sump. Not fancy but it works.

tgriffen, I hope you don't mind me stepping on your thread but I have been wondering something for a very long time and this seems like the perfect place to ask it.

I see lots of people post pics of their mixing stations and they apear to be in the garage. My garage is insulated but not heated or cooled. It gets hotter than blazes and cold as **** in there there. Isn't that an issue?

I have a 44g brute I make fresh water in, and then pump it to a 32g brute. I fill it to the 30g mark I have made and mix the salt with a mag 9. Both of my tanks are ~15 feet from the cans and I have a python(the gravel vac, not the snake) that I hook up to another mag 9 to pump water to and from the tanks. Super simple, but very fast.

this is what i came up with. RO/DI on the left and SW on the right
