Shrimp disease?

I noticed a brownish almost powdery looking substance on my harlequin shrimp a while back. Now he has been MIA for about a week. Any ideas?

Is it molting?

My mantis looks discolored and disappears for up to two to three weeks while he is molting...

Maybe...didn't look like any molting I've ever seen but this is my first harlequin so maybe they are different. Hopefully it hasn't kicked the bucket.

Not sure how long harlequins take, but, I know time varies. My cleaners take one day. My mantis takes weeks. Remember that some shrimp go into hiding after a molt while the new exoskeleton matures...

How big is the tank? Keep your eyes open. Hopefully it'll pop up...

150gal. It's kind of like trying to find a needle in a haystack, lol. Hopefully he will pop back up I still have plenty of starfish that he needs to eat.

Yeah. I'm sure he's in there somewhere. Just keep an eye out for him. 150g is allot of real estate for it to explore or hide in...
