Silent drain plumbing?

That's close, but you will still get some gurgling I think. You need the water to turn, not just bottom out. I'm not sure the air would completely go out of that side vent. You could absolutely do this in to a filter sock, just have the outlet go down into the sock.

Yeah that was just a rough example. I didn't have another cut peice to put on there. But wouldn't the reverse durso have to be in the sump? Or at least the actual drain?
