Skimmer extension tubes

I believe the answer is yes... (otherwise your waterlevel inside the "tube" will be higher than the air inlet on the beckett and then water will come out your air inlet..)

(I've seen modifications to the air injectors (beckett housing) that are nothing more than 1" pvc with a threaded male adapter at the bottom and a threadxthread union at the top.)
 
Depends on how high up you have the water rise in the chamber. I have a MR2 with an extension on it but have not extended the becketts. I haven't had an issue with water coming out of the air intakes, as I try to keep the water level in the chamber to at most 6".
 
The pump is pushing down in the becketts anyway - if there would get water out of them I'd need a new/better pump... LOL
 
raising the injectors will help in case of a power outage. Operationally, it shouldn't make a difference.
