A skimmer without bubbles.....thoughts, ideas?
I had to replace the inside of the pump and its been a while since I've worked on this thing (I pulled it apart and ordered the piece I needed about 6-9 months ago). The first time I put it back together, the motor wasn't working. I pulled it apart and tinkered some more, and the motor started humming right along. I set the skimmer with the newly refurbished pump over in my sump, plugged in the pump and water started to rise up in the cylinder. After SEVERAL minutes, I noticed......no bubbles.
I'm NOT looking forward to pulling this thing out and dealing with it again. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong before I start tearing it apart again?
