Currently converting my solana and 65 aga to a 150 gallon. Been reading alot of reviews on skimmers. now i am confused. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. currently running the octopus recirculating 110 on my 65 and like it. Anyone running the G3 or Octopus 200. thanks

I think Mockery runs the 200, ill see if he will chime in or you can pm him...but i personally like the octo's as i ran the dnwb 110 on my 72 and it was great.

Ding, Ding, Ding. LOL

Hey Atmercue,
Not sure which octo your refering to but I run this one. http://www.aquacave.com/reef-octopus-super-brsro-2000int-in-sump-br-protein-skimmer-2997.html">http://www.aquacave.com/reef-octopus-super-brsro-2000int-in-sump-br-protein-skimmer-2997.html</a> The SRO 2000 INT and it is awesome! Mine is rated for 180 gallons, but I think it could definitely handle more.
I have also run the ASM G2 a smaller version of the G3 and it is ok, the vernturi could be better IMO. And the pump has stalled on me before.
If your looking to buy and octo get one with either the Sicce or Bubble Blaster pumps the octopus turbine pumps are have been hit and miss with me.
Also if you get a Sicce pump into getting one of the aftermarket impellers like the purple pinwheel, red demon, or white lighting they are a good investment.
Hope this helps. PM me if you have more info. Just a warning I've got finals this week and next so I'm gonna be hit and miss with answering timely.

iPhone not letting me pm. Anyway, thanks for all the great info. What size tank is yours on
