I can't make my mind up on this. I've got a 45g + 20 sump + 29 fuge. What would y'all recommend? It'll be a LPS/SPS tank.
I'm thinking Seaside Aquatics CS3.5 or the CS5.5. Just not sure which size.

Octopus makes a great skimmer, go with one that does more than your total water amount. I have a 250g on a 125g tank, big bio-load! :D. Holley

How long have you been running it? I always seem to pick a skimmer a tad too big that doesn't skim very well.

It's only been up for like 2 weeks or so. Honestly the skimmate isn't that great now but I'm sure it will get better. The skimmer is brand new and the tank only has 2 clowns in it right now. The skimmate is a tan color and it's skimming alittle wet. But that'll change as I get more fish in the tank. Plus I got the skimmer for $135 shipped, brand new in box.
