Small white bugs are usually copepods and good.
Without a good clear pic posted here, none of us will be able to tell you if they are something that could be bad.

I tried to get a picture, but I can’t. I’ve been stocking pods, so I’m hoping that’s it.
Will they go into my refugium on their own or should I have poured them into it myself?

is your fuge in your sump? are you running filter socks? if yes it is in your sump and you aren't running filter socks, then yes, they will get into your fuge.
I have a HOB refugium. No filter sock.
