i've found that as long as you stay in front of algae buildup... even one with smaller pull will work fine...

I just take 3 or 5 minutes every other day to give all the glass I want to stay clean a good once over... I've got mag floats..

My glass is 3/8" thick and the front is 60" x 26". I use a large mag float and it doesn't have a hefty pull to it. I did have the medium which took forever because of its small size. Jenn said the X-large is amonster to pull even on very thick glass.

The biggest magfloat I could find didn't work worth a squat on my 180.

I would look at Magnivore if you have that kind of jack.
