Snail Eggs?

So are these snail eggs? If not, any idea what the are? Just noticed them this afternoon.

That is what I thought. Cool. How long before they hatch or will they get eaten first. LOL
 
I was thinking Ceriths myself.

Over the next couple of days the eggs will start to weaken their hold on the glass and become most likely food or skimmer/filter sock fodder.
 
Kind of what I figured would happen to them. Still pretty cool to see. Just added some of each on Tues night so I guess I got more than I paid for. LOL
 
Couldn't you scrape em off and put em in another tank to grow fairly easily? Or would they get damaged too much. Anyone ever try here?
 
They will hatch and most likely never grow past a pin point. Used to have hundreds of baby nerites, ceriths, turbos, and nausarius snail babies. That was until I moved my tank. And started with new sand.
 
My salinity was at 1.024. Now they may grow larger in brackish water but they most certainly will hatch and live in a reef setup IME
