Have any of you guys seen some of the snails for sale on ebay? I attached a link. I am not sure they are Nassarius Snails but they have the same description.

I wasnt because the price is so much lower than other places. Are they as beneficial for your tank as other snails (cerith, astrea etc)

They're good sand sifters and detritus eaters, but don't expect them to graze algae the way other snails do. Ceriths are great for keeping my glass clean, but the Nass snails mostly hide out in the sand until you feed. Then they all come out looking for leftovers.

Great article about these snails being sold on ebay as reef safe nassarius snails. Read this before you buy any of these guys online. Thanks Bill

Kinda like a temperate region nass. snail. If you keep them in a reef tank, there metabolism will speed up rapidly and cut life span in half... but they will stir up the top layer of sand for you. I bought a hundred or so awhile back, none are alive now.
