Snails dying, everything else fine

I definitely have some crazy hair algae but nothing resembling dino at all.
And yes I've heard they're short lived but one week? No.
I had 2 in the tank before I moved for like 5 months.
From what everybody is saying about temp I think the most likely cause is the temp swings I've had recently. A testament to getting quality heaters.

It had to be something like a temp swing or similiar for them to all go at once.

You only had them a week?

Could it have been acclimation issues?

Yeah about a week. It could have been acclimation. I put the hermits in at the same time and acclimated the same way though. I'm not sure. I think most likely it was temp swing though. Like I said a heater failed and caused the temp to skyrocket. Parameters look ok though right?
