Wife got a snowflake about 2 weeks ago.
It has not taken food recommended by the previous owner ( raw table shrimp, krill, silversides, squid and octopus)
Have noticed that there is a number of shredded bristle worms in the tank, but have yet to see the snowflake eat.
Picked up some small damsels to offer live food, they were ignored.
Been dropping pellets and flakes for other fish, not sure if it's taking this as we've not seen it.
Wife is panicking, so asking for other suggestions and if anyone knows how long a snowflake can skip eating.

I wouldn't worry. They can go a month or more without eating. Not unusual for them to go off of food for a little while when they're moved to a new environment.

It's unlikely it will catch the damsels. They are fast, the eel is half blind.

Give him some time, let him get hungry. If he ate before, he'll eat again.

Unfortunately I have found that the same applies to children and their BOYFRIENDS. Man 21 year old boys can eat.

Good luck on the snowflake.
