So all this time I thought my stirrer was working inside my MRC Kalkwasser. But apparently it was NOT. So which kalkwasser out there that is reliable and easy to maintain.

deltech has a good one but expensive

you can go with the aquamedic http://www.aquabuys.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=am-kalk-1000&Category_Code=g1&Product_Count=8">http://www.aquabuys.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=am-kalk-1000&Category_Code=g1&Product_Count=8</a>
its alright but i think there are better out there

I just use a maxijet 400. It stays on all the time and keeps it mixed up quite well.

can you post a pic on how you have it set up jin im interested in a simple design for now thanks victor

There are quite a few of the Deltec stirrers in the US. I have a KM 500s and love it. It's reliable and I've never had a problem with it. If you'd like to see on in action, stop by.

I was only able to find 1-2 dealers with Deltech being one of them. I guess they got the price pretty much monopolized.

why don't you get a nielson reactor that uses a pump (mj400) instead of a stirrer?

Kalkwasser clogs pumps pretty fast. Magnetic stirrers are relatively maintenance free in this regard.

if i were to get a reeftek what kinda of pump has a 1/4'' output? i would need a pump as the water would come from my ro tub.
