Some advise

Hi im posting this for some advise i have just been offered a RedSea Max 130D for $200 the only thing it needs is new bulbs and a return pump. Is this a good tank im a new aquarist and i currently have a 14gal biocube. Any info would be great.

id say thats a really good price on a red sea tank. even if it needs new bulbs and a return pump. get an mj 1200 for the return which is around 40 bucks and the bulbs shouldnt cost more than 20-30 bucks each so for less than 300 bucks you're in business

It has a mj 1200 but ghe nozzels are gone and the pumps dead. As for the bulbs i was ghinking about doing the LED upgrade. Other then that im gonna buy new seals for the hood new water cooling fan and new hinges as there a little worn for my liking. I actually paid $100 because the skimmer body and overflow was missing i leak tested it and its holding like a champ.

well thats even better then. and you might still be able to squeak by under 300 bucks depending on what led you decide to go with
