Galaxy S3, I press the phone up against the glass. If I pull the phone away from the glass they don't look near as good. Especially if you zoom in or the object is moving at all. I'm pretty sure I have the settings on my camera turned to max. The resolution is on 3264 x 2448. Everything else is on auto or off.

Nope no filters or editing. I just pressed the phone flat up against the glass and take the pic.

Here are the important settings list:

Effects: No Effects
Scene mode: None
Exposure value: 0
Focus mode: Auto focus
Resolution: 3264 x 2448
White Balance: Auto
ISO: Auto
Metering: Center-weighted
Auto contrast: Off
Anti-Shake:Off
Image Quality: Superfine

The 5th picture down in the 2nd lot is awesome , the one under the purple acro what is it.

I have three (Taotronic type) black box Leds. They are about 10" above the water line. My tank is a 60" long 120 gal.

Edit:

Yes for all the Zs and Ps I was zoomed all the way in.

How do you have your res setting so high? I have the galaxy s3 also and the highest res on the phone says 1392x1392

That is the highest resolution for the front facing camera. Turn it to the rear facing camera and you should be able to turn it up.

Well I can't find any way to turn mine higher than that

Edit: Ohhh yea I didn't even realize it was on front facing lmao duuhhh haha yea and it was already on that setting :) I love this phones camera waayy better than anyone's phone I know :)
