Some of My Corals

Your filefish sounds like that fairy wrasse. My filefish was recently put in time out for picking at a torch. Aptasisa came back in a big way as soon as he left, and the torch died anyway so back he came. he also nips at my acros, but doesn't seem to bother them too much. I think I'm going to try another copper band for the aptasia, but I'm a little reluctant as my PBT killed the last one I added almost immediately.

Mine initially tore through the apstasia I had - we didn't have much and he decimated it (I thought it was gone actually).

Now - he's figured out we'll give him plenty of great food and he is ignoring the apstasia. I wish it was easier to get mature Berghia.

Lookin good! What are all the specs of the tank and equipment your running? To me that’s almost the more interesting part of people’s tank lol

I think I saw you at publix the other day btw

That was me! I saw you, but wasn't sure if it was you or not. You're looking a little more grizzled than usual. I guess having a baby in the house will do that to you... You more than welcome to come by sometime to check out the tank if you'd like.

Equipment rundown:
Tank is a standard 120
Lights-T5 Hybrid w/3X Hydra 26HD T5's-3x blue plus and one coral plus

Skimmer-Eshopps Axium X-160
Return- DCP1200
Powerheads- 2x Gyre XF250
Controller-Apex Classic
ATO-Tunze
Avast Kalk Stirrer

How often do you feed your dendro?

I've had it a while, and it hasn't grown very much so probably not enough...Sometimes daily, but usually every other day. I dump a little zooplankton in the tank like 15-20 minutes before I feed if the poyps aren't out, and that seems to get it to open up. Sun corals were my favorite when I first started reefing, and these are way easier. They don't seem to mind too much if you go a while without feeding.
