Hi all,

I want a small tank for my desk. I was almost thinking about a Frog or something. But, I am not sure. Maybe a pair of clowns and an anemone. Nothing more than like 10 or 15 gallons. Is this a good idea? Too big or too small and do you guys have any recommendations?

Thanks!
Joe

I've got a Spec V on my desk at work. Nice little tank for the last year. I had a VERY small nem in it. I'm not sure if the light wasn't strong enough or if I just couldn't feed it properly because it was so small. Maybe a little bit of both. I've fragged this puprle stylo though, so maybe the stock light is fine. I paid about $30 for the dry set up. This was 9 months ago. I guess it's time for an updated video.

I like the size a lot also because it's really easy to keep a 5g jug of water and do 20% water change twice a week.

Not at all. I don't always. It's really easy and fast though to change 1 gallon of water. Once a week would probably be fine too.

Here's a video from just now. It's difficult to vac the sand.. I need a new vac with a smaller tube... You can see where I broke off pieces of the stylo. Tons of growth on everything that's been in the tank. I just scraped the glass so the candy canes are closed a little bit.

I literally just set up an Evo V last night. I'm planning on just having zoas and mushrooms in it. Its a neat little tank.

Fluval makes the spec 5 tank witch is a AIO tank and comes with a dexent led light. I have one with stubby clowns in it and love it.
