He needed a makeover

I didn't loose anything, I think he is rebeling. Ever since I had moved him to the new tank, he had been carrying around hair algae. It was pretty funny. I figures eventually he might cause the hair algae to spread, so I pulled it off. So this evening he went across my sand bed and picked up 3 different frags.

When it was in my 50, there was plenty'o hair algae to keep him busy. Now a days, his feeding terrain is barren.

I was aware of their behavior before the purchase, and I plan to keep him. He is a great algae controller. It doesn't really bother me that he'll move stuff, I'm pretty use to the snails bulldozing what they want. I just thought it was funny that he decided to take on 3 plugs at once. I glue the stuff that doesn't need to move, and the Zoas are free game.

That would be neat to see an urchin wearing xenia. If I could get it to ONLY stay on the urchin I would try it.

I'm not too sure, he doesn't really even travel on the sand bed often. When eve he does, it is usually so that he can move from plug to plug eating coraline algae off the plugs.

He eats just about anythig fuzzy, A certain sponge colony I used to have, coraline, and any diatom that grows on the rocks.

He doesn't spend much time on the glass or sand it's self.

Edit: The only areas left with HA are a few of the crevices that the urchin, snails and crabs can't reach.

Maybe try a few conchs. They stay on the sand bed and love algae

He's also managed to misplace my purple hornets. Can't find em anywhere.
