Southern aquatics, there's no longer giving discounts to atlanta reef cub members?

I was in there today and when I asked for my discount. I was told they no longer give discounts to Atlanta. Reef club members. But then when I look down, on the page here, it says they are still sponsors.So I wasn't sure what was going on

That's odd.

They might not do on dry goods, I don't think, but I definitely got my discount on my last two livestock purchases from them since January of this year.

Ugh, I hope they're not dropping us as a sponsor, or I have to find somewhere else to start going.

I got a discount from them about 3 months ago. But when I went today, I was told they'd no longer give discounts to ARC members

Thanks for looking into it.. I would definitely prefer to do business with sponsors especially of their giving the ARC discount..

There you go.. fixed the issue. Been coming here for 20 years ..I've always been a supporting member.. but thanks for pointing out the issue.

Indeed, I had a request for livestock pending with them that I'm awaiting notice of - if they've decided to drop their sponsorship, I'd like the opportunity to notify them that I will be taking my business elsewhere.

You and me both.. the integrity and health of this group depends on a lot of things but loyalty is definitely at the top of that list. These stores are continuing to mark up their prices . Charging more and more .with this hobby being already ridiculous in what things cost it's no wonder why people give up after a crash and want to get out.. the high expense added with the frustration we all eventually go through assures that. Plus this is one of the very few hobbies that cost you money even when you're not all that into it.. my mountain bike and guitars don't cost me a dime if I decide to step back and not use them..they just stay in the corner and collect dust..
