how do i get rid of these?
yeah i know, "they are sooooo good for the tank......"
i just have way to many populations of them in my tank.
they are a eye sore in my opinion.
i need to get rid of these things, any ideas?:
i do have a cleaner and pep shrimp in the tank,
so whatever you suggest i need to be mindful of these guys.
ive heard arrow crabs eat them like crazy.

Here you go Rick, wallpaper for your computer:

gezz, where have you been?
long time no see dave.
yeah thats them. i got a whole load
of these things i gotta get rid of.
how?

They gross me out pretty bad, I cant stand seeing them.

From my understanding many types of crabs will eat them. They just need to be hungry enough. Flasher Wrasses (cirrhilabrus) have been known to eat them and I have witnessed a secretive wrasse eating them as well which an entirely different type of wrasse.

Stop feeding so much. Most worm populations respond to the amount of food they find. Food/poop - it's all food to them.

So while you're busy over-feeding and hatin'... they are helping you out.

Love thy worms ;)

these came about in 1 week from my switch over jenn. i didnt have nowhere near as many before in the 27. they were here and there but nothing remotely close to this. my feed amount hasnt changed.
now these things are all over the place.

Well they had to have been there, out of sight... they didn't just beam in :)

Jenn

lol
ok so how do i get rid of them jenn?
im sure i can just suck them out with my WC hose.
would that work or will they just keep coming?

Dunno, Rick... I don't believe in getting rid of 'em ;)

Short of getting rid of all your rock and substrate and having a sterile fish only tank with fake decorations, I don't think you can get rid of all of them.

Jenn

maybe not but i sure has heck can put a
huge dent in the population though.
they are just bad to look at jenn.

You can practice with a fun and exciting game for the whole family!
