Hi all,

Have a 57 gallon rimless, and 2 AI Sol Blue units above. I am wondering what levels you guys run your lights at when you get your SPS home from the store. I have so far killed several pieces, and am thinking lighting is having something to do with it. All my non SPS coral is doing fine. Anyone care to share their settings?

I have two sol blues over a 93 cube. They are about 10" above the tank which is 25" tall.

I run em at %100 from 8am-12pm and then again at 8:30pm-12:30am at %100 percent.

I start sps from LFS at the bottom and bring them up over time.

So 100% for 8 hours a day broken up into 2 x 4 hour blocks? What do you run them at for the other periods? I was running them at 65% for about 6 hours and my corals are bleaching...and dying. Lights about 7" above waterline, and the corals about 10" below...

The other periods I run the lunar cycle.

Out of 24 hrs, there are two photo periods and two rest cycles. It works for me.

What are your water parameters?

Edit: I have a 15min ramp period for each cycle

Edit: Speaking of the devil..... The ramp up just began
