Sps dominate now!

So it took some time and patience, but I think I'm down for just two more purchases for my tank to be in grow out mode. Those are (after determining which other LPS I can part with) an Aussie Gold Torch and Pearl Berry acro. But on the bright side I've gone to a dominate SPS tank now and everything has colored up and encrusted pretty quickly. So here is the list growing out...

I think that's awesome...Congratulations!!! Now it's time for that big Calcium Reactor to keep up with all that SPS.

I know... dosing everyday sucks... maybe after Christmas. I've heard the initial cost is high but in the long run cheaper than liquid dosing. My calcium stays pretty consistent at 430-440... Alk stays at 8... and Mag around 1250...

Yea it was really hard for me to part with some of my stuff to make room for these guys. 3 years of growth on some items is just hard to throw away for a fraction of what I paid. If I won the lotto the other night I would do a 300+ but its just not in the budget now.

how big is your system ? my 120 display does GREAT with the MRC nano.( purchased used).. I think I got into that reactor, an aquarium plants reg and everything for around $500 total.

Edit: btw I'll hook you up with a Pearl Berry next time you're out this way for cheap

There's so much gratification growing it all out from frags. Things grow into one another in the tank in a fashion they're happy. You've got a great selection there! Before you know it, you'll be out of room. Steady wins the race!
