I recently have been looking into maricultured pieces for SPS corals and have fallen in love with some of the varities. I was curious what vendors are best for their SPS maricultured selection. The only one's i've found are live aquaria divers den and unique corals. Also any LFS's that have a good selection of maricultured pieces would be appreciated as well, and I went to pure reef three days ago and I must have gone on a bad day because I didn't see anything to nice just lots of tri color valida's.

IMO, maricultured SPS corals are a complete gamble. I've seen some hold color, but a lot of the time they will change colors and adjust to your tank. You may end up with a bad *** coral, or you may end up with brown sticks.

does reef works have an online store that I can view?

And ripped tide yes I do understand the risks in buying them, but as far as what I've seen in my tank is that they can brown out but if you give them enough time they will bounce back.

Fair enough! Lol.

I had this one Millie that was pink with yellow tips. Naturally, the yellow tips almost immediately faded. It stayed pink, but not AS pink, and never got the yellow tips back. It grew like wildfire, no yellow.

Millie's are awesome corals, Sweet PE, and they come in every color pretty much. Is there any orange millies that are sold? Would love a yellow or orange millie

Here are some ARC Sponsors where I have seen/bought nice Maricultured SPS colonies for sale, but if you do decide to go to any of them, I would call first to make sure they are in stock. They are like any other coral, not constantly in stock. Most ARC Sponsors will have acroporas in stock, but these guys regularly get Maricultured SPS in.

My list is not comprehensive, and there may be others. These are from my personal shopping experience: Pure Reef, SEA Atlanta, Atlanta Aquarium, and Creation Reef in the Atlanta Area. Aviarium is supposed to as well, I have been told, but I have not bought any there. Reefworks in Augusta, but they ship.

All, wild and maricultured, will change colours based on your lighting and water chemistry. I've found maricultured colonies to be much hardier than the wild ones. Aussie wild colonies have been quite stunning, but that's pretty much what you expect from there anyway!
