Stands built for me by Groupertherapy

About a week ago, Dave (Groupertherapy) delivered two stands to me that he built so that I could hide cords and store unsightly equipment. They are great. Huge difference in my tanks appearance. I will try to post pictures. The stand on the right has a 20 plus gallon reservoir for my ATO set up. Each stand also provides 8 outlets with switches. Makes water changes so much easier. Thanks again Dave.

Aubie...that is a chiller. It hasn't had any trouble so far. There is a good deal of space behind it and enough on the sides. Guess I will learn more next summer.

Cool. I was looking at doing something similar but was warned that a chiller wouldn't work as well enclosed in a cabinet.

Aubie - I can't say for sure that the chiller will work "as well" closed vs. enclosed. I did see another person's aquarium where they had a chiller in a cabinet. One end was open, and on two of the other sides, they had cut holes and installed metal vent plating. Dave and I agreed that the dimensions of these provides enough air flow. They are 25 inches squares.

You can't see it that well in the pics but the back of the cabinet is completely open. I think that will be enough ventilation for the chiller, I hope!!
