My stand is finally ready for my rimless 120! Good waterproofing outweighed asthetics when determining the finish so I went with the bed liner (Herculiner) kit from Auto Zone. This stuff is very messy but dries rock hard in about 10 hours.
About 58 feet of 1x2" steel was used. Overkill=good sleep
The guy that built it does great work and is very reasonable on pricing. He charged me $250 for labor (about 5 hours) and $158 for the steel.
A wooden skin will eventually be built so I wasn't too worried about making it pretty. The tank will have a single (centered) back wall overflow so 1x1" steel tubing was used there to make sure the bulkhead fittings/plumbing cleared.
What do you guys think? Sorry for the crappy pictures.
