My Fiance is heading to the asian supermarket tomorrow to pick up a few things. I want her to pick me up some nori/seaweed but I don't know exactly what to tell her to buy. Any opinions? She said theres is different kinds, some salted, baked/roasted.....

Keep in mind I need to be very, very specific! You married and long time commited folks know what I'm talking about.

I know someone that buys the roasted green at h mart...my fish seem to love it! Non-salted please...

Get this, the other day I go out of town. I ask my fiance to do me a favor and pick up 15 gallons of ro water from the fish store. Knowing how she is I tell her 3 times fresh not salt, then layout the containers for her that are labeled RO. Right before I walk out the door I ask her to repeat what I wanted, oops! Suffice to say I revived a tongue lashing that went kinda like "you must think im pretty stupid don't you"! so I got the hell out of the house before that got worse.
Two days later before I tell her to pour it in my ATO I decide for redundancy to make sure she bought FRESH and not salt. I call the lfs I role her to go to. He starts laughing at me. He says she brought in your RO containers and asked for salt. When he commented that I generally have the containers labeled for what I want in them she snapped at him and he filled them as asked. His last comment to me was **** you have a little firecracker.
At this point o have a **** eating grin 1200 miles away, I call her up to sufficiently rub the stupid comment in Haha

I've noticed that usually the ingredients on the back of the nori will be in English. So it's pretty easy to find just the dried plain seaweed from the seasoned stuff. Also the folks working the register are crazy helpful.

I also like to grab some roe when I go. Usually it's one teaspoon in water and slowly basted into the tank and one teaspoon in the open mouth of the 4 yr old. She loves the stuff!

I also grabbed some dried kelp the last time, no body in my tank seemed to like it. But I do believe urchins eat it naturally...

I'm bad with sizes... but they are teeny tiny. If you've ever had roe on your sushi, it is the tiniest orange fish eggs they have.

Honestly, about all I have left in my tank are some mushrooms and kenya trees... so I really just use it as something different to feed the fish. Everyone seems to love it, including the shrimp.

I paid about $3 for a bit less than 1/3 of a lb.
