Storing a pH probe

All of the above worked for me. When I moved I put them (I've got two) in saltwater until it evaporated. It took me 6 months to get my new tank and Apex up and 1/2 the time it was in tap water.
Just plan on recalibrating....

Aww jeez, you have to get all professional!!!

You need to go have a few cold ones and repost, that one was boring!

LOL. Only because I have been readying the manual trying to figure out how to program my first Apex. :)

Good to know! I was wondering about storing other probes as well, like salinity and ORP probe. Guess it would be the same procedures, and recalibrate before re-use them.

I read on the Neptune forum if you receive or have a ph probe thats dry you can try soaking it in salt water (sump) for a few days and it should bring it back to life. I haven't needed to test that theory yet or if it does work. So take it with a grain of salt.

+1
I read this on the users forum too.

Mine have also practically dried up but still came back fine.
