Strange Lump on Trigger - Need Help Diagnosing

I've had this blue throat trigger for about a month and he has been the picture of good health. Over the past week I've noticed a lump forming on one of his sides. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there a few days ago. The scales look completely normal, so I don't think it's a parasitic.

Any ideas what it is?

Appears to be a tumor, sadly there is not much you can do. Will just have to wait it out.

That is what I was afraid of. Could it grow that fast?

I've had a clown trigger in the past go from a great bill of health to death in a week or so due to what I believe was a tumor. Not everyone's case will be the same but they can grow rapid or over a long period of time.
