I was trimming back one of my neon green leathers today and when I cut off one of the branches, it floated down and landed on my Green Bubble Tip Anenome. I figured the anenome would sting it and I quickly grabbed it and pulled it out of the tank. Too my surprise, the GBTA almost immediatley began to shrivel up and retract. It's been over 30 mins and the GBTA is still shriveled. If I did not know better, I would think it was dying (which I hope it is not!), the Tomatoe Clowns are pissed too since they can't get in to their nem. I never would have thought that a small piece of a leather coral could have caused that kind of reaction in a fairly large GBTA. I'll be watching it the rest of the day and I'll be more careful the next time I cut some of the leather back.
