Strawberry anemone?

The start of one at least. No clue. Was playing around with the camera a bit for the first time.

To the left of the acro frag:

Seems to have red/pink polyps around the edge and it's definitely hard and attached to the LR.
Any idea?

Doesn't look like an anemone, most likely leftover from another sps that encrusted over there.

Ill try to get a better pic of it tomorrow..

Actually....... I had an orange monit cap there... you're probably right.
Just haven't seen those kind of polyps on a larger cap before, but maybe that's how it starts.
