I have a Hatian Pink tip nem which I have had for nearly 2 years now. I've been trying to target kill majanos with kilwasser but have been taking a break from that for a few days since I put in some new coral in. Before I put those in, I also tried a target kill with hot water as recommended by Rit. The Majanos are still at large but don't seem to be bothering the zoas they have been touching.
The problem is my nem which I know is the first creature to react to stress in the water. The last 2 days I have woken up to it shriveled more than ever, though in a few hours it opens back up fully. It does shrivel once in awhile to digest algae but, I'm just not used to seeing it looking like this every morning or staying shriveled for more than an hour. I want to go get my water tested but, I've never driven in the snow before So, I don't really want to drive.
Temperature is very consistent 76-78.
I haven't target fed it since last week but, I've gone weeks without in the past with no problems.
I have 5 gallons of new water up to temp and am thinking of just doing a little change to see if it helps. Any other Ideas?
