Submersible or In-line

I currently have a mag 18 ready to be plumbed into my 120, but I was thinking. Since, I have enough time before my build. Should I consider an in-line pump instead.

I'm looking for some opinions here on the pros and cons of each. So feel free to share your thoughts.

The Mag pumps can be plumbed either way. The issues with Mag pumps are well known...they tend to leak and the volutes (impeller cover) are known to break. If that's the pump you are going to run, I'd recommend in sump. They are heat generators too.
