Subscribe to forums? Search? Holiday Party?

Hi. Just logged into the new site - been busy with night school. I want to set up subscriptions to a couple of the forums, but haven't been able to figure it out.

Also, I thought I would search for someone else asking the same question, but cannot find the search box either.

Must be user error.

Lastly, will there be a holiday party this year?

Welcome back Mark! I hope school is gong well.  

There is a blue pop out box on the right side of your screen click it and "search & most recent topics" will pop out.  The search box is there.

If you go to the yellow bars upper right hand corner "Meetings & Events" our momthly and annual calendar is there wll all the details of upcoming events and meetings.  Justa  hint if click on the event at the bottom of the scrron is google+ it will give you driving directions to the location via mapquest.  

If you would like to subscribe to a thread just click on the "subscribe" button at the top of the thread and you will receive an email (you may need to check your spam box)  when someone creates a new post.  We have set up "reply by email" you can now just reply to the email you recieve and the post will automatically be created for you in the thread.  There is no need to login on the site to reply.

Later this week we will be releasing a very big update and the "search" bar and many other compotents such as the look and feel of the website will function much better.  I hope this helps.  

Finally,  the holdiay party will be December 2nd we are still working on a location.  As several members have requested a less dressy location than the past two years.
