Success with Ocellaris Clownfish in what Anemones?

I'm seriously considering getting an anemone for my clownfish, they really don't have anything to host, they have their mushroom, but they don't like that (it doesn't like the either), and they've been keeping around the glass in the back under the lip of my hangover filter. That, they're consitent with, but you can barely see them. I don't know what kind of anemone to get them, though. The bubble tips are great, I enjoy both green and red, I like condylactis, but when it comes to the one thing they will most certainly host, the carpet anemone, I can't keep one, my tank is way to small... So basically I'm up for <u>any</u> anemone an ocellaris clownfish will host that fits into a 20 gallon tank with a jawfish. I'm up for suggestions, and also nems you've had success with!
Thanks!

That's great! Well, I just realized Father's Day is comin up, I should buy him a GBTA and put it into my tank! Yes, that's exactly what I'll do! Lol. I've heard ocellaris don't take to certain species of anemones?

I wish I could help, but the only thing our True Perc will host is one of the blasted Koralias! He just won't go for the nice big, 12 headed frogspawn. :(

You know, I used to have a sebae, when I first got the tank. Due to high salinity (I wasn't aware that the salinity was hight at the time) it died which stinks. I actually didn't have much luck with it, though. Does anyone know of a website that sells bubble tips for less than $40? I'm on a shopping spree right now. Thanks!

Koralia??? How does that work? Won't he get blown away every time he tries to get near it? That would suck if I tried to get near my home and it blew me away.

Mine have been with a RBTA for about two months and the ignore it VERY well.

Ok. I believe the Aviarium had RBTA's for like $35 at one time (according to their sponsor forum area), but when I went there, they only had a GBTA for $40. What about this website, anything you see that's a good deal that a clownfish will host? Here's the bubble tip I like on the same website: http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11_03/product_info.php?products_id=318&parent_category=4&category_search=63&root_parent_id=4">http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11_03/product_info.php?products_id=318&parent_category=4&category_search=63&root_parent_id=4</a> good deal? How bout those, both under 30!!!

BTA all the way, they are the hardiest, and since they split frequently, they are usually pretty cheap to be had.

That's what I'm looking for!! I just really wanna find an RBTA for cheap, those things are awesome! I think I waited too long. I remember Bud had some for sale, and I was gonna jump on one, but I decided to wait for a little while. I shoulda took one of those. Dangit.

Here's a list of what clowns host in what anemones:

That being said, some clowns will host in almost anything including powerheads and corals. My clowns hosted in a colony of palys before they got an anemone.

I once had a clown that tried to host a BTA while it was still in the bag acclimating..... Thought that was cool.

RBTA's are up for grabs every so often, just take note on who has them and let them know to put you on a list when they split.

Ya, exactly, my clowns were trying to host a big red shroom, but he doesn't like that. I've never heard of a clownfish hosting a colony of palys. They occasionally go near the pulsating and non pulsating xenias. And of course they don't like it. The only place they can be is in the shadows behind the filter, and the filter doesn't mind. But I do. I wish that sebae hadn't died. That was terrible.

Ya, I might post a WTB. I'll see. I'm sure I could get a good price.

I thought BTAs were supposed to have tentacles puffed up like this:

Not all long like this:

What's up with that? Is it just deflated?

He occasionally does, but usually stays to one side or the other. Unless he's begging for food.

Aaaw! That's cute. That's another good thing about not having an anemone present, you never know what they're gonna host. That's very entertaining!

Mine only shows bubbles when it retracts in the evening or after it eats. Otherwise it looks like the second pic (only redder).
