What is a good sump to get for a 60 gallon cube for fish only? Thanks!

Ehhh, wet drys are ok. They wouldn't be my first choice, but they also wouldn't be my last. If I were to use a wet/dry, I'd take out the bio balls and replace them with pond matrix.

Do you have live rock? Or is it a true, fish-only?

If you DO have live rock, use a reef sump. No bioballs.

If you do NOT have live rock, then you *can* use a wet/dry (with bioballs).

OR you can do a reef sump OR wet dry and use Seachem Matrix instead of the bioballs - much more efficient medium.

+1 on both of those bioballs are a waste of space and plastic imo the surface is fairly smooth so not as many bacteria will populate it and on top of that there are no pores so the surface is the only place for bacteria to stick to unlike with matrix, LR, or ceramic blocks, which are all very porous and allow for huge populations of beneficial bacteria.

Edit: well i take that back the LR can be more or less porous depending on what type it is/where it was mined or harvested from. mined rock is usually a lot more dense and will have less pores and open space within it.
