Hmmmm. Didn't think there was much of a skeleton by looking at it. LOL. Shows you what I know. Hehehehe. Good thing is I think I can get that rock out pretty easy so I can work on it in a bucket.
 
there may not be much there but i know that older a colony the thicker its skeleton usually is so i figure theres at probably a couple millimeters of CaCO3 that you'll have to work through

Good info. I have some small wood chisels that might work nice as well. May not do the chisel much god but.... LOL
 
eh it should be fine as long as you rinse off the saltwater and wipe it dry
