I hooked up my Jebao WP-25 from the group buy today on my new set up and am pretty impressed. I will eventually be swapping to VorTech's (I bought these as a back up) set up with my Apex but not a bad deal, thanks to Jeff!

Why go with the Vortech? You can buy at least 7 WP25s for the price of a MP40.

I bought a WP25 a couple of months ago and now I feel ripped off by Vortech.

Aren't the wet sides on the jaebo's larger? I love my vortech and love that it's at least assembled in the US. Does jaebo have a US office for warranty issues?

They are bigger. Don't know about US.

Edit: I already have Vortech's and love them with only good things to say about EchoTech Marine.

Thanks. That's the only real negative that I've heard about them. How are they noise wise?

They are quite.
I swear one of my Vortech's (MP10esw) has gotten louder since I got it but it still runs perfect so?!?

I keep sticking with vortechs because I really dislike the cords in the tank. No doubting that there are better values though.

I have the WP 40s from the last group buy and see no reason to change. They have worked great since I put them in the tank.

I added my vortech mp10es back after putting 2 wp25s on. I'm now taking the mp off cause it seems so weak lol and putting it on another tank.

I've liked my wp- 25s so far. Require cleaning more frequently, but nothings perfect.
