a guys collects these in Hawaii

lol i got them from a guy on nano-reef. got the package for $100 shipped from hawaii. he uses 2nd day am delivery and has great success with that shipping method to the states. he's also been know to throw so goodies in ;)

WOW ok, now see what you did. I have to go order some. Whats his exact info please

Some different Zoas! Nice. Alright, cut some up neighbor! That or shuffle the contact info for your Hawaiian guy!:lol2:

if you go to nano-reef search for a title in the sale forum called "Hawaii Zoas". his stock changes from what he has pics of in the thread but he sent me pics of about 15 different zoas he has in stock right

just picked up the zoas from fedex. the look great so far. everything was packed extremely well. i ended up with 4 frags even though i asked and paid for 3. i'll get some pics when they are acclimated and opened!

Just wondering, does a guy like this need to have a liscence of some sort to be able to cut coral from the ocean and sell it?

from the discussion on R2R with him about it, in hawaii you can collect soft coral for personal use. to sell you do need license. hard corals are illegal to take i think.

everything is starting to open after being in the tank. they all look in great condition, especially for being shipped from Hawaii and being in a box for a couple of days. my blue leds are coming on so i'll try to grab some pics as they open more. i also got a 11polyp freebee frag!

As soon as I saw the thread title I knew it had to be from that guy on NR. I've seen nothing but good reviews on him.

he was great to deal with. i was nervous getting them delivered on friday because of the "wintery weather" we were suppose to get. he had two heat packs and a ton of packing so they were pretty warm still after 2nd day shipping. as of yesterday they looked like they did on friday. i did a water change so i'll see how they're doing tomorrow morning. it sucks im going to be out out of town for the next 2 weeks :(
