Just wanted to note that I had ordered ~4 of the bulbs mentioned on Melev's pages for refugiums, and I used one for over two years @ 12 hrs/day without an issues with overheating...

I run my fuge lights for 12 hours..

I run my fuge light based on the AquaControllers sunset. When my sun is going down they come on and stay on until they sun is fully up.
