T5 and JBJ 28 Question

Are there any T5s I can put in my hood, it has the 150hqi in it right now and I am wanting to add some Actinic T5s if I can, I am not sure about the sizes you can get them in and if they will fit in the hood. Thanks for any info.

That is actually what I was about to purchase but I though I would ask about the T5s and the LEDs before I took the plunge. Did this add a lot of actinic to the tank, I have a 14khqi now and the colors just dont POP like I think they should, probably time for new bul too.

It adds a small amount of actinic when combined with the HQI. It looks great on it's own for dawn/dusk simulation.

If you want an amazing pop, go LED. My current system is LED and it is fantastic.

Another good reason to mod your JBJ with LED would be to reduce temperature fluctuation.

Anyways, the PC mod is a great, easy mod if you go that route.
