T5 bulb's, critique my bulb combo.

I think it will look great. Sounds like what everyone used to use for the 4bulb vho combo. There is a grimreefer here too. Same guy?

I think we have the same setup and I'm trying to get that radium 20k look so I run 5 blueplus and a super actinic. Blue pluses are not quite as blue when overdriven.

Gonna be pretty white... I would run at least one pure actinic on the workhorse...that should add a little more color.

Why not run a VHO on the workhorse (or 2 if you can)?

I think it will look a little too pink. The GE is pretty yellow but the actinic white is really pink.

The ATIs are great lamps though.

Personally, if you're going for a 20K look I would use 2Blue Plus and 2 Blue specials. the blue specials are white with a good representation of blue.

Agreed on the actinic white, made my red corals look great but cast a pinkish hue over the tank
