I tried spraying the newest reflectors I got with a UV safe clear coat. Helped a little initially but long term, not so much.I know!! I have the aquaticlife ones and they are 14" above water and still get splash on it. I need to figure out how I could add a glass panel to it for easier cleaning.
I'm thinking a thin sheet of lexan. Could be held on with a few strategically placed dabs of silicone. Easy to clean and cheap enough to replace if necessary. MUCH, MUCH cheaper than replacing reflectors.
