I recently got a tailspot blenny and a lyretail anthias. The blenny has made his home in a hole besaide my hammer. Pokes his head out every now and then. Well, my anthias swam a little too close i guess and he came out biting. He chased the anthias and the anthias fought back. The enthias is atleast 3-4 times the blennies size. Im not sure if they have fought other than this time but should i be worried? I mean it seemed like the blenny was the antagonator not the anthias. Is it common for blennies to be territorial? I have a 40 breeder

Tailspots are one of my favorites. They are not overly aggressive. I wouldn't worry about it... he's just protecting his home.

Good. I read the anthias can be a lil agressive so i wasnt sure who was really getting at who lol

they'll be fine, he has to have an attitude he knows he knows he's the smallest fish in a tank
