Here is the one I was referred to by another ARC member. I think Iwill probably get this before next summer.

I would recommend using fans/ air cooling to lower temps on your tank before considering the more expensive options such as a chiller.

If you are using a setup with a canopy, you can install 2-3 fans (I like the Ice Cap fans) and either use them with a controller that has a temp monitor, or have them set on a timer to go off when you MH/lights are on. Air flow over the surface of the tank will lower tank temps approx 2 degrees.... just make sure that you do not have too much air blowing on the tank in the evening as this can push your temps down to 75-76 degrees if you are not careful!

I hope this helps.

I have a ceiling fan in every room that has a tank and that helps! My temp does not get over 79.2. During the Summer I unplug my heaters and need to make sure the temp doesn't drop below 77.8. I do have to top off the tanks every day to compensate for evaporation. I have one tank that gets warmer than the others-I have a fan on top that comes on when the tank hits 79.2 and it does not get any warmer. :D Holley

I use 2 of the zoomed tank coolers they blow air across the water keaps my tank at 77.2 with t5 and led and 79.6 with my I got them at marinedepot

I have used a fan before, but I just don't like throwing walmart fans over my otherwise teched out aquarium :)

When I DO use a fan.. it is over the sump. I set up my RKL so that if the tank reaches a certain temp it cuts on.. and back off when its down again.. that way it doesn't cool TOO much

Edit: I'd really like something that will work w my eurobracing.. as I don't use a canopy at all

Google AZOO fan and see if that would work

Always go fans first.

I like using the $10-15 desk fans since they are cheap to replace when the rust out, and I have a 24" box fan on my sump as well.

For my old tank I got a 12v power supply and went on
a> and got some thermostatic fans. The speed up and slow down based on the temp in the hood. Worked great for my 58g.

I have a small honeywell fan blowing length wise with my 210 tank. Doors are open on each end of the canopy. Hooked to controller so it blows when the 3 400 watt mh lights are on. Chiller never comes on. You go through more water but auto top off handles with no problem. I also have three small Quiet fans blow out from back. It works great.

For what it's worth, I had an Azoo unit with 4 fans and it didn't work too well.

Wow really I put mine in my canopy and kept my tank 2.5 degrees cooler
